He completed his MCh training from the prestigious Department of Liver Transplant and Gastrointestinal Surgery, All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi. During his tenure, he got immense training inhepatopancreaticobiliary and GI surgical procedures.

Thereafter he pursued his interests to gain enormous experience in the field of Liver transplantation, Hepatic, Biliary and Pancreatic surgery, during his fellowship inLiver transplantat Indraprastha Apollo hospital, New Delhi.
