Dr Joy Varghese is senior consultant Neurosurgeon & Chief coordinator of Neuro interventions at Apollo Hospitals , Chennai .He completed MCH in neurosurgery from Mumbai University , India and Fellowship in Interventional Neuroradiology [ FINR ] from Zurich University, Switzerland, Endovascular Neurosurgery , Microvascular Neurosurgery and Skull Base Neurosurgery always fascinated him and has been working in this field for last nineteen years .He is the endovascular Neurosurgeon incharge of the stroke programme Apollo Speciality Hospital OMR Chennai.He has published several scientific papers in reputed journals. .
His speciality and area of interest include all complex microvascular neurosurgical procedures related to the brain and spinal cord, including surgeries for intracranial Aneurysms , arteriovenous malformations , carotid endarterectomies , revascularisation surgeries for the brain.
