• Dr Dinesh Nayak is senior consultant neurologist, epileptologist and currently the Director of the Department of Neurology & Advanced Centre for Epilepsy at Gleneagles Health City, Chennai, India.

• Recipient of S.M. Munirathinam Chetty Gold Medal for receiving highest marks in the final MD examination, Dr Dinesh is trained in neurology (DM degree) at Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology (SCTIMST), Trivandrum, India, an institute of national importance, from 1993 to 1995. In 2000, he was awarded the Dr. PN Berry scholarship for training in epileptology at King’s College Hospital, London, UK where he received training in intracranial EEG and video-EEG till 2003.
